U-TX Technologies LTD is an R&D company providing innovative technological solutions for cellular telecom and asset security markets. U-TX solutions consist of proprietary hardware, firmware and software which provides the building blocks that provisions the creation of unique communication networks – all in accordance with local laws and world-wide standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
U-TX Technologies in collaboration with IEEE Cyprus Section, under the Action for Industry (AfI) initiative, offers trainee positions for Electrical Engineers, Computer Engineers and Software Developers to recent graduates in order to gain experience in electronic design, wireless telecommunications, hardware/software engineering and software development in a leading company.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Recent Graduate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
or other related field. - The candidates should have hardware and/or software basic skills.
- Knowledge of one or more of the areas below will be an advantage:
- Software:
- High Level programming (C/C++, Microsoft .NET)
- Embedded systems programming
- Wireless Communication systems
- Signal processing
- Hardware:
- Hands-on experience in electronics
- Electronics circuit design
- Printed circuit board prototyping / Fault finding
- Microprocessors coding
- Wireless Communication systems
- Software:
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for Hardware/Software Development and technology in general
- Hunger to learn and continuously improve
- Excellent English
- Good communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
EMPLOYMENT TERMS
The candidate must be eligible to participate in Human Resources Development Authority of Cyprus Programmes. For details, click here.
Full-time, 6-month contract which it may be renewed.
Satisfactory salary depending on qualifications.
The position does not include 13th salary.
